EVOLUTION OF SUPER MARIO—INFOGRAPHIC
Since starring in Super Mario Bros. in 1985, Mario has become a cultural icon recognized by generations. Nintendo’s Mario brand not only helped salvage the video game industry, but has also helped define the industry of today.
Note: The infographic was only meant to illustrate the evolution of Mario in the Super Mario Bros. series. That’s why other Mario games aren’t represented.
If you’re not a fan of infographics, this Mario Evolution design simplifies his changes over time.
Back from Zelda Symphony Chicago. I had a great time. :D
I went as a dressy version of A Link to the Past Zelda Link to the Past Princess Zelda (modified maiden dress). My friend went as Blue Mail Link (also from A Link to the Past) and my other friend wore the Skyward Sword Link wig and hat and ears with a green Zelda shirt.
The Symphony was AMAZING. The theatre was lovely inside and the music was moving. I was good about not crying up until the A Link to the Past medley when they played the ending credits theme for ALTTP. After that, they played Ballad of the Wind Fish from Link’s Awakening (my favorite Zelda song). When they announced it, I squealed. When they played it, I couldn’t stop crying. It was WONDERFUL.
